Among the many classes and workshops offered at a variety of levels are:

Adult Classes
Pottery, Card making, Photography (including basic camera operation, photo lighting, darkroom techniques and photo coloring), Pastels, Acrylic painting, Rosemaling, Printmaking, Tours, Moldmaking, Watercolor, Jewelry, Life Drawing, Bookmaking, Calligraphy, Asian Brush Painting, Portraiture, Realistic Drawing and Painting, Oil painting, Papermaking, Fabric Painting, Computer Graphics, Microsoft Office and more!

Youth Classes
Clay, Cartooning, Drawing, Jewelry, Summer Art Camps, Adaptive Recreation classes, Puppetry, Theatre Arts, Hanukkah and Christmas workshops, Rosemaling, Printmaking, Media Arts and more! 

Art for All Ages
In addition, the Art Center brings parents and children together for special family workshops and classes where the students use the "one-room schoolhouse" method of learning. Art Day Camps are offered for ages 3-14 throughout the summer.

Pottery
The Art Center features a premier pottery department with glazing facilities, a 36-cubic-foot gas kiln, nine electric kilns and outdoor raku, soda and wood-fired kilns. Beginners and advanced students also have use of 17 electric wheels, several kickwheels, slab rollers and extruders.

Online registration is available for children's classes. Please keep in mind, though, that it will take time for staff to process online Edina Art Center class registrations (possibly up to 48 hours.)
