Our community enjoys a well-deserved reputation as a safe place to work and live. However, crime happens -- even here! The men and women of the Edina Police Department are concerned about the safety and security of residents, businesses and their employees. If you should experience a theft or burglary or other crime, the Department will work hard to recover your property and bring the perpetrator to justice, but officers and staff would rather help you prevent the crime. The Edina Police Department has a Crime Prevention Specialist, funded by the Edina Crime Fund, to serve residents through a variety of programs and community outreach.
